W1 vs W2: How WorldTicket Uses Multiple Codes

Guide

The structure

  • W2 is the primary ticketing carrier with extensive BSP coverage
  • W1 is an additional marketing code used to support growing airline and route volumes

Both codes are part of the same WorldTicket infrastructure.

What matters for issuance

  • All tickets are issued on W2-365 stock
  • W2 is always the validating carrier
  • Settlement remains via IATA BSP

Your workflow does not change based on whether a flight is marketed under W1 or W2.

Additional context

Behind W2 is FlexFlight, WorldTicket’s own airline based in Denmark, providing the operational foundation for consistent ticketing and settlement.
