Sweden, October 2018. We are delighted to announce that our Scandinavian airline customer Air Leap has gone live with the recently launched 5th generation of our PSS, Sell-More-Seats 5.0 (SMS 5).
One of the most significant changes in SMS 5 is the technology move from Flash to HTML5. Additionally SMS 5 is now built on a more modern and future-proof architecture, is performing even better and is of course accessible on all devices. Additionally, the user interface has been modernized for a more user friendly and contemporary experience.
Air Leap is a newly established regional airline with operations in Scandinavia. Air Leap launched with regional routes in Norway initially, but has recently expanded with regional routes in Sweden and Finland as well.
Andreas Røe, CTO in Air Leap, elaborates “Air Leap is an innovative airline building solutions for the future. To succeed with that, we need partners like WorldTicket that supply solutions that are future proof and accelerate our growth. With the new and more interoperable SMS 5 built on new web technologies, we are for instance able to let our largest customers administrate their corporate travelling with self service in our PSS”.
With SMS 5 as well as the Passenger Retail solution, we are pleased to provide Air Leap with our best-of-breed solutions both for online passenger experience and back-end PSS administration.
“Air Leap is a forward thinking and modern airline with focus on positive and efficient online experiences, which made them our ideal launch airline on SMS 5” Lasse Meilsoe, CEO in WorldTicket, explains.
We are happy to welcome them aboard SMS 5 and look forward to continue our collaboration!
