Geneva, november 2017. WorldTicket is very proud to be a strategic partner of IATA and therefore able to join the PDMG Working Group meeting from 07.-09. November in Geneva.
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is the trade association for 83% of total air traffic and is in charge for formulating industry policy on critical aviation issues.
WorldTicket is one of their over 400 global strategic partners and member of the Passenger Distribution Management Group (PDMG). In this Working Group, detailed business requirements are documented and implementation guidance for data exchange standards in the area of airline distribution are developed.
Klaus Bech was representing WorldTicket at the PDMG meeting from 07.-09. November in Geneva. The meeting’s key topic was IATA’s New Distribution Capability (NDC) program, which enhances the capability of communications between airlines and travel agents. At the moment, WorldTicket is on a good track towards becoming NDC certified.
